Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Kamaʻāina Sunday ticket promotion scheduled for Sunday, April 12 has been postponed to Sunday, April 19. Tickets already pre-registered for April 12 are valid for the new event date.

Celebrate the 126th Birthday of the U.S. Submarine Force — Kamaʻāina Sunday at the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum.

Join us on Sunday, April 19, 2026, as we celebrate the 126th birthday of the United States Navy’s Submarine Force with our annual Kamaʻāina Sunday at Pearl Harbor.

As a heartfelt mahalo to our local community and those who serve, Hawaiʻi residents and active-duty military receive free admission with valid ID. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to experience one of Pearl Harbor’s most unique and memorable destinations.

Spend the day exploring together—tour our award-winning museum, walk the scenic Waterfront Memorial, and step aboard the historic World War II submarine USS Bowfin. Take a break and enjoy lunch with stunning views of Pearl Harbor.

Throughout the day, keiki can dive into hands-on activities and interactive exhibits designed just for them—sparking curiosity about submarines, ocean exploration, and the people who lived and served beneath the sea. It’s a fun, educational experience the whole family can share.

Whether it’s your first visit or a return to a place you love, Kamaʻāina Sunday is a welcoming, family-friendly way to discover the stories, innovation, and spirit of the Navy’s Silent Service.

Pre-registration is required
Limit of six (6) tickets per reservation
Children under age 4 are not permitted aboard USS Bowfin for safety reasons, but may visit the museum and outdoor exhibits
Tickets are required for children ages 4–12 and adults (13+)

All adult ticket holders must present a valid Hawaiʻi or military ID upon arrival. If a valid ID cannot be presented, standard discounted Kamaʻāina or military admission rates will apply.
